After years in the financial industry, Keith Lund,CFP® — owner and lead advisor of Dynamic Financial Advisors — saw how overwhelming and impersonal financial planning could feel for many people.

He created Dynamic Financial Advisors in 2024 to offer something different: a more personal, relationship-focused experience where clients feel heard, informed, and genuinely supported.

I began my career in 2004 with Ameriprise Financial Services. In 2012, driven by my passion for independence and client-centered service, I moved my practice to LPL Financial as one of three advisors in the Danielson Financial Group. Over the next 12 years, our team grew to four professionals, and in 2024, I took the next step in my journey by founding my own firm—Dynamic Financial Advisors, Team DFA. My goal was to better serve my clients and offer them an even more personalized experience.

I believe that the key to providing valuable financial advice lies in putting the client first and taking a holistic approach. Managing investments isn’t just about the numbers—it requires genuinely understanding and caring about my clients, their tax situations, cash and debt management, risk tolerance, time horizons, and estate plans. With a tailored strategy in place, I work closely with each client, regularly reviewing and adjusting their plans to help them reach their unique financial goals. I’m grateful for the trust my clients place in me and consider it an honor to be their trusted advisor.

As a CFP® professional, I serve my clients as both an LPL Investment Advisor Representative and an LPL Registered Representative. I’m securities licensed in several states and hold Series 7 and 66 FINRA registrations, along with state life and health insurance licenses. I’m committed to continuous learning and staying current with the ever-evolving financial industry so I can offer my clients the best possible guidance.

I earned my associate’s degree from Ricks College in Idaho (now BYU-Idaho) before serving a two-year mission in Connecticut for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After returning, I completed my bachelor’s degree at California State University, Fullerton.

On the personal side, I’ve been blessed to be married to my wonderful wife, Christina, since 2002. After finishing school in 2004, we moved to Las Vegas, which has been our home ever since. We’re the proud parents of four amazing children: Tyler (born 2005), Amy (2007), Stacy (2011), and Alyssa (2013). All four are passionate about soccer, and Christina and I can almost always be found on the sidelines—usually cheering louder than anyone else!

With the kids now in school, Christina has more time to focus on her career as a Registered Dietician and her lifelong passion for healthy living. As a family, we’re deeply involved in service at our church. I’m a lifelong supporter of the Boy Scouts of America and am especially proud to be an Eagle Scout—a distinction my son Tyler has also earned. Christina and I treasure every moment we spend watching our children grow, learn, and reach new milestones.

Hi, I’m James Schilling and I joined Dynamic Financial Advisors; TeamDFA as a Financial Advisor Associate in October 2023 and starting December 2025, I will be serving our clients as a full financial advisor. I grew up here in Las Vegas and graduated from UNLV in 2022 with a degree in Finance, but my interest in financial planning goes back much further.

My passion for this work began at home. My dad, an air traffic controller who loved investing, used to show me his 401(k) and teach me the power of compounding interest. My grandpa, a CPA who tracked every penny, taught me the importance of discipline, budgeting, and being intentional with money. Those lessons shaped how I view financial planning, not as a product, but as a lifelong process built on transparency, and good decisions.

Building on these lessons, I interned with Equitable Advisors during college and saw the real impact of good financial guidance. At the same time, from 2018 to 2024, I served in the Marine Corps Reserves as an automotive mechanic, developing a service driven mindset. After graduating, I spent a year at WestPac Wealth to strengthen my foundation before joining Keith who focused on mentorship, collaboration, and growth.

I joined Dynamic Financial Advisors because of the culture and the level of hands-on experience offered. From day one, Keith brought me into every client meeting. This gave me rare access to real conversations, real planning, and real decision-making. That experience was invaluable and helped me earn the Certified Financial Planner®, CFP® designation in less than 2 years. Keith’s transparency, mentorship, and emphasis on doing what’s best for our clients, made TeamDFA the clear choice for me.

Outside of work, my wife, Kimberly, and I love going to car events, trying new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She is a fellow UNLV alum and is a registered nurse in women’s and babies’ health. I also volunteer with Toys for Tots, a nonprofit that brings toys to children in need, helping organize some of their fundraising events. We believe in enjoying today while also planning for the future.

I want you to know that there’s a plan behind every recommendation we give you and not just a hope or a guess. Clients entrust us with some of the most important decisions in their lives and I take that responsibility seriously. My passion is to help you feel informed, prepared, and supported every step of the way.

Carolee Bates
Client Service Manager

I’m Carolee! I’ve been part of Keith’s team since September 2019, bringing with me years of experience in the mortgage industry as a loan closer and auditor, as well as a background as a licensed real estate agent. Throughout my career, I’ve also worked as a dental assistant, customer service agent, and administrative assistant. What I’ve loved most about my professional journey is having the chance to serve and connect with customers and clients.

In 2016, I moved to Henderson, NV from Kansas City, KS, where I had lived for 19 years. I absolutely adore my husband and our three adult daughters. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, reading, watching movies, crocheting, and paddleboarding out on the lake.

Hi, I’m Bree! I joined Keith’s team in 2024 as one of his Client Service Associates, bringing with me over 5 years of experience in administration. I’m all about making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes, and I take pride in building relationships with all the wonderful people we serve.

Outside of work, I’m a busy mom to two kids who keep me on my toes and remind me every day to stay flexible. When I do get a moment to unwind, you’ll find me enjoying a good book. I’m excited to be part of this amazing team and look forward to what’s ahead!
